💨 Deploy Smoke
Use a smoke grenade (⚠️ any color EXCEPT pink or yellow).
This signals the start of your extraction attempt.
🛡️ Defend the Zone
Hold your position during the timer duration or until the extraction marshal confirms success.
Enemies can contest or interrupt the process.
✅ Confirmation
Marshal or M.E.R.C. will confirm:
Item tags updated to "Extracted"
Skill and Trap Cards become active
Loot is now tradable at G.A.M.P.
🎒 Post-Extraction:
Head to G.A.M.P. (Grey Auction Marketplace) to:
Trade cards
Activate skills/traps
Swap loot
Retrieve mission rewards (if applicable)
Bring backup or you're basically ringing the dinner bell alone.
M.E.R.C.S. won't babysit you for free — some may demand loot, favors, or contracts.
Card extraction priority: Trap Cards first, then Skill Cards, then general loot.
Coordinate with your commander to avoid multiple extractions for small groups — high-risk, low reward is dumb tactics.
Certain operatives, anomalies, or story NPCs (like cursed individuals or artifact carriers) may only extract via hidden/special tunnels. You’re not welcome at the regular extract point, boet — your presence risks the entire faction.
Tunnel Extraction Only
Location: Marked on event map (hidden or underground route).
Only valid for cursed extractions or high-tier intel carriers.
Use a secured frequency on your faction comms or radio (actual radio or in-game comm device).
Initiation Phrase:
“Echo Lima, Echo Lima, Echo Lima.”
You’ll receive a challenge:
“What time is it?”
You respond:
“The shadow stands at 12.”
Then give your threat code:

| “The moon is black.” | ⚫ Immediate extraction. Maximum threat, possible KIA. |
🧨 “The moon is black” incurs heavy resource cost or risk — use only if you're really in the kak.
These require a M.E.R.C. with clearance or a coded runner.
Tunnels might be monitored by anomalies or set with traps.
Only ONE attempt allowed per player/per event. Fail it and you walk back with nothing but regrets and an empty mag pouch.
